You may or may not know that I was a Resident Assistant last year at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y. A job I took very seriously. As a result when I promote my web site on Facebook and Twitter, some of my friends who read it are not yet 21.
Lately I have been getting a lot of questions about making homemade wine and a lot of them have been from friends of mine who are under 21. Now there is a problem here, mostly because you can buy all of the Homemade Wine Making supplies you need regardless of your age. Why is this a problem? Well because, if you buy everything and wait a little while you will have alcohol. Now, I make my own wine and strongly encourage you to do the same, but if you are not 21 years old you should not engage in this activity until you are.
Here is the biggest issue, after having been an R.A. I can honestly say that I would have not known someone was making their own wine unless they told me. So while I may have walked into a room and been able to notice store bought alcohol and removed it from minors, I would have left them with homemade wine simply because I did not know any better.
I will ask you to do me this one favor, if you are under 21 please be honest and truthful. Read all my posts, enjoy them and get excited. When you turn 21, go nuts and make all the homemade wine you want, but DO NOT make your own homemade wine now.

Good point but you should note that brewing wine is better than buying something hard like vodka which is much more dangerous than homemade wine.
People who are underage are gonna drink regardless of what they are told to do. They might as well be learning something. Plus its teaching them patience rather than them just finding someone to buy them cheap booze and getting drunk that night.
BTW you don’t give any real reasons for not drinking underage you simply state that its bad without anything to back it up.
